Our guest speakers are both former cornerbacks, Denver Broncos Alumni Frank Robinson and President, Lee-Lo Lang. They played together back in the early 90’s and it should be very interesting to get their opinions of our young defensive backs who, by the way, are playing pretty darn good right now.
Bring non-perishable food donations to be donated to the Food Bank of the Rockies. We would be remiss if we failed to remember that Thanksgiving is just around the corner and with so many persons unemployed and having a tough go of it. Frank Robinson will receive the donations on behalf of the Food Bank of the Rockies for which he volunteers to raise donations. Thank you in advance for your generous support of his charity.
Our first meeting in September with our guest of honor DENVER BRONCOS PRESIDENT JOE ELLIS was one we won‘t forget for some time. Not only was he a great speaker but he was also very entertaining. He spent about one and a half hours with us, and during that time he answered every question that our club members came up with. Very informative meeting, sorry if you missed it.
The October meeting really got going when Pro Football Hall of Fame Inductee, Floyd Little arrived, and he walked around the room shaking every ones hand at each table and thanked them for coming. Later, after he told us a few of his fascinating stories and a Q & A session, he sat down and autographed his latest book “Promises to Keep” for about 90 members and a few extras for the club. Call 303-948-2363 if you want one of our extras for only $24.95.
I’m sure that you all know where we are going on February 3rd 2013, right? LOUISIANA SUPERDOME FOR OUR 8th Super Bowl AND OUR 3rd WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP. GO BRONCOS!
