Chris Harris breaks Randy Gradishar’s Bronco record for longest scoring interception return for a TD

When Denver Bronco Quarterback Club members got a chance to be in the studio audience for the Broncos Huddle TV show in early December, we met Bronco cornerback Chris Harris.  Harris spoke that night about what it was like to be an undrafted free agent entering camp his rookie season and how fortunate he feels to be a part of the Broncos.

Little did we know that just a few weeks later Harris would break the all time Bronco record for the longest scoring interception return for a touchdown.  Harris’ 98 yard return was a key play in the team’s victory over Baltimore, and surpassed Randy Gradishar’s 93 yard TD vs Cleveland in 1980.

The Denver Broncos Quarterback Club has some long time fans among its members – how many of you remember that Gradishar TD vs the Browns?  Here’s a video clip to bring back those memories:

Let’s hope the Broncos have some big plays this Sunday to once again defeat the Browns, as the team gains momentum heading into the playoffs!
