WOW! Zane Beadles, 3rd year offensive lineman for the Denver Broncos, had the Denver Broncos Quarterback Club spell bound for about an hour and a half on February 11th over at Red & Jerry’s on S. Santa Fe and Oxford Ave. We had over seventy Members in attendance that enjoyed a cash bar, a great buffet and Zane Beadles.
Zane is deeply involved in an organization called Brent’s Place and they furnish housing for out of town families who come to Denver for cancer treatment for their children. Zane brought Bridget Fitzpatrick, Development Director, for Brent’s Place and she explained their operation to us. There is a huge need for Brent’s Place. It is patterned after Ronald MacDonald’s House.
When the mike was passed to Zane there was no stopping him. Our club members had plenty of questions because we haven’t had an offensive lineman speak to us for a good many years because of their code of silence with the media. (We didn’t have any media in the room). He didn’t shy away from any question and he ended after an hour and a half with a prediction that this team will be much better next year because a lot of the time this year was spent just getting acquainted with each other. Thank You Zane Beadles for a great evening with our club members.
Our next meeting is March 11th . We’ll have our annual draft preview with ESPN’s Cecil Lammey. Join the QB Club today and you can hear what Cecil has to say about the current state of the Broncos and the 2013 draft prospects, too!
I enyoyed the meeting very much and thought that Zane was very informative and about both his charitible feat and the answered questions concerning the Broncos were equally informative and presented with ease and knowledge about the team. Thanks for inviting him!
Zane was very outgoing and totally involved with the club He answered all questions to his best and with detail his charity is very dear to him thanks for having him there and thanks to him for coming looking forward to many more years in DBQC Duane Austin
Very cool to meet these guys in person as we watch them weekly from a distance in uniform. You can tell guys like Zane and Wesley Woodyard (who visited us in Dec.) love their jobs, the Broncos organization, and the community!
