Meet the man who finished “The Drive”! Former Bronco wide receiver Mark Jackson will be our guest speaker at our December 1st lunch meeting.
A 6th round draft choice of the Broncos in the 1986 NFL draft, Jackson was one of John Elway’s favorite receivers in Jackson’s 7 seasons with the team. Jackson caught the touchdown pass that sent the game into overtime on The Drive in the Broncos’ January 11, 1987 AFC Championship Game victory over the Cleveland Browns. Along with Vance Johnson and Ricky Nattiel, Jackson comprised the Broncos “Three Amigos” receiving combination in the late 1980s. Mark Jackson currently holds the Broncos franchise record for career yards per reception in the playoffs (19.29).
