Cooper played with the University of Miami and was drafted in 1983 in the second round (#31) by The Denver Broncos. He played with John Elway in the 1986 Super Bowl XXl at Pasadena California and for Head Coach Dan Reeves, Offensive Coordinator Mike Shanahan and Offensive Line Coach Alex Gibbs. The Broncos were ahead at half time but ended up second best. When the team returned to Denver they were met by 300,000 fans and most of the Quarterback Club Members on a parade route. Denver is surely blessed with the finest fans in the NFL.
