As the new President of the Denver Broncos Quarterback Club, I am excited about the coming season and the possibilities for our club in 2017! I wanted to write to you today to tell you of some new club features you’ll see and to encourage you to renew your membership.
What’s new?
A new look and new features to our club website. Check it out at www.denverbroncosqbclub.com. You can now renew your membership online and pay meeting fees online at the website through PayPal. We’ll be adding to the website throughout the year.
More posts on twitter and Facebook. Thanks to our new President Elect, Tom Jacobsen, you’ll see much more activity on our club’s twitter page and our Facebook page . Tom’s been posting pictures from the Broncos past from his collection of Broncos memorabilia. If you are a long time fan like me you’ll enjoy reliving Bronco memories through Tom’s posts. Please “like” our Facebook page and follow/retweet us on twitter to help spread the word about our club.
An updated policy on how the club’s Super Bowl ticket drawing will be done. There are no guarantees we will get Super Bowl tickets (available at cost) from the Broncos, but we now will do a drawing among club members for the possibility of Super Bowl tickets at the beginning of the playoffs. This will allow us to quickly offer the tickets to the winning qb club member should we get Super Bowl tickets from the Broncos.
More off season meetings. I want to keep our monthly meetings going in the offseason as long as we have quality speakers to present. And what a lineup we have had so far in 2017! QB Club members got the rare opportunity to meet and ask questions to an active NFL official in February (Scott Novak). In March we heard 104.3 FM’s Cecil Lammey, back for his 7th consecutive year, give his NFL insider’s view of the Broncos offseason, and the upcoming draft. And on April 11th we have a fantastic speaker scheduled – Ryan Harris the starting left tackle for the Super Bowl 50 Champion Denver Broncos! We also will have a post draft meeting with another knowledgeable media insider in May, and another member of the Super Bowl 50 team set to speak to our club later in the summer.
Your QB Club board is working hard to deliver more surprises for the club in 2017. Renew your membership today so you don’t miss out! And tell your Bronco fan friends and family about our club so they, too, can be part of the exciting programs we have planned in 2017.
